We are pleased to announce that VLS has recently become a member of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). This milestone follows a comprehensive audit conducted in November and the successful completion of all associated actions.
As part of the audit recommendations, our technicians will undergo formal IPAF Operator Training for Static Booms. This training, provided by Warren Access and Horizon Platforms, is scheduled to take place over the next few months.
Upon completion of the training, operators with certified IPAF operator cards will not be required to operate equipment from within the bucket. Instead, we will continue to manoeuvre equipment from ground level exclusively for maintenance access to the vehicle.
