At VLS, we’re dedicated to ensuring our workshops remain safe, efficient, and equipped to meet the evolving needs of our fleet.
We have recently made some key improvements across our facilities which not only enhance the safety and working environment for our teams but also means we can continue delivering exceptional service and maintenance standards on your vehicles.
Enhanced Safety Features
We’ve introduced Pit Protect systems at our Pity Me, Howdon, and Thornaby workshops. These inspection pit covers prioritise the safety of our team during maintenance tasks, we have also invested in new pit paint and durable floor upgrades in our HGV areas.
Shaker Plates for Advanced Diagnostics
Shaker plates have also been ungraded which allows for more precise checks for suspension and chassis components. These upgrades not only streamline maintenance but also help ensure the highest standards of roadworthiness across fleets.
Boosting Capacity for Light and Electric Vehicles
To further support EV maintenance and expand our light vehicle capacity, we’ve invested in a Totalkare 5.5-tonne two-post lift at our Pity Me workshop.
These investments reflect our commitment in providing reliable, efficient, and forward-thinking fleet care, making sure our clients’ vehicles stay on the road safely and perform at their best.
