NGN extends its fleet management contract with VLS for a further two years as part of the 2020 contract award. VLS Contract Manager, Chris McFadden, said; “We are delighted to have received confirmation that our current contract which was awarded in 2020 has been formally extended for a further two years until 31st August 2025. We look forward to working with the NGN fleet community to deliver on our obligations as the maintenance provider to the NGN fleet”.
The initial contract award was for three years with an option to extend for five one-year periods and due to the performance levels of the provider, NGN have awarded a two-year period to provide consistency of supply to the end users until 2025.
We have achieved some significant successes together since 2020 which include no missed legal events which we have maintained since 2017 as well as supporting NGNs successful accreditation to the FTA Van excellence standard during 2023 and for the last six renewals.
The VLS team look forward to working alongside the fleet community within NGN to maintain asafe and compliant fleet for the future.
